Tiny Classic

When I ordered this off Amazon, I was expecting a real "book". This is a booklet. I was very surprised with it arrived (from England, no less) in an envelope that appeared to contain a CD, it was so small. Although the recipes are good, somewhat unusual, and classically French (as one would expect of a book authored by Olney), there are a total of ten recipes (plus a basic recipe for crepes and one for croutons). That's it! The flat courgette omelette is truly wonderful, but the same recipe was published a few years ago in Gourmet Magazine, and is therefore on Epicurious.com. My advice is: don't spend money on this booklet.

and I feel like an idiot

It is not! a book. It is a ten page collection of recipes, and I feel like an idiot, that I bought it. It is not worth the postage.
Had I looked at the reviews I should never have bothered, I just felt happy to get a book with smaller measures for two, by Richard Olney but I will never use this joke of a book, and it should not be listed under books.
Who has thought out this series of booklets, is not well in the head.
