Amazing Tale

A fabulous tale filled with hyperbole and speculation.
Levy et al certainly know how to tell a story. The authors weave a tale that follows the Stone of Heaven as the Chinese refer to Jadeite jade from its discovery in Northern Burma the late 18th Century to modern times. As for truth, it seems unlikely that much of what is written is little more than speculation though the bibliography is impressive.
If you are looking for an authorative reference on jadeite this is obviously not the book for you, but if you are interested in a wonderful tale, buy this book
